Reconciliation centres have been established in all wards of Changunarayan municipality. The municipality established the reconciliation centres with an objective of resolving ward-level dispute in ward. It is believed that the reconciliation centre would help make the municipality dispute-free and to build a civilized society.
Coordinator of Judicial Committee and Deputy-Mayor, Bina Bastola, said, “The centres were established with an objective of settling down the different types of possible disputes in wards through the medium of reconciliation.” The municipality has already selected 37 facilitators in wards and imparted 48-hour basic training to them for the same.
