Kathmandu, March 10: The number of people killed in the bus accident at Bheri Malika Municipality-4, Jajarkot district on Thursday, has reached 26, the Nepalese Army stated. The Army, along with Nepal Police and locals is involved in the rescue of the victims.
Similarly, 26 people were seriously injured in the accident. Nine passengers who received general injuries have been treated, the Nepalese Army, Directorate of Public Relations stated.
An army helicopter was despatched for rescue and treatment immediately after the accident. Eighteen of the injured were airlifted to Nepalgunj for treatment. They are undergoing treatment at the Nepalgunj Nursing Home and other hospitals in Nepalgunj, it is stated. RSS
