Four metric tons of waste management
Four metric tons of garbage has been managed by cleaning the Bagmati river bank under the Buddhanagar Bridge on Saturday. It was the 457th week of the Bagmati Cleaning Campaign, Minister for Culture and Tourism of Bagmati Province Dipendra Shrestha also participated in the clean up. Campaigners including Uddhav Prasad Timilsina, chair of the Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee and Megh Ale, chair of the river conservation society also took part in the cleaning, according to one of the campaigners Kishore Singh Shahi.
