Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has stressed the need of ensuring impartiality, fairness and transparency during the upcoming local-level elections.
In his address to a programme today, the leader said, “The country has already entered to the election and it must be impartial and transparent with the full implementation of the code of conducts.”

He received 912 votes to emerge victorious to the post. His close contender Bamshalal Tamang got 848 votes.
